Common work of Lucky Strike brand with music radio-programs began in 1920 on NBC channel. To 1928 the head of group and vaudeville producer B.A. Rolfe has recorded and performed on radio such record as "B.A. Rolfe and his Lucky Strike Orchestra" for Edison Records.
In 1935 American Tobacco Corporation together with stockholder of North Carolina Tobacco Company Lee Aubrey began sponsoring of music program Your Hit Parade. Later one more tobacco stockholder F.A. Boon from Lexington, Kentucky State will join them.
Weekly radio-shows have furthered brand success that was very popular during 25 years. Shows were based on tobacco auction theme and each of them has finished with phrase: "Sold, American".

Lucky Strike has also sponsored comedy radio - Jack Benny's program and his TV show that have been also presented as programs from Lucky Strike. So, from October 1st 1944 his show got name The Lucky Strike Program Starring Jack Benny.
In 1960's Lucky Strike began to change and appeared menthol variant of Lucky Strike cigarettes. Later appeared light version "Lucky Strike Original Silver" they had grey circle on the pack.
Modern technologies have been used during entire manufacturing history of Lucky Strike brand. So, in 1942 was changed color of Lucky Strike cigarette packs. If earlier cigarettes have been produced in dark-green pack, now cigarette pack has acquired the color that is used today. In 1997 British American Tobacco has acquires Formula One Team Tyrell, later Team was acquired by Honda Company and till the end of season 2006 Lucky Strike logos were present on the cars.
R.J. Reynolds continues launching cigarettes without filter. In 2007 appeared new "double" pack where 7 cigarettes were separated from other.
At present moment though Lucky Strike are the brand of British American Tobacco they are not produced in USA, production was transferred to other countries.
