Winston Red The Winston brand founder is R.J. Reynolds Company. The Company was named after its owner Richard Joshua Reynolds who has graduated Bryant and Stratton Business College in Baltimore, Maryland and in 4 years after he has moved to Winston town, North Carolina state and founded his own Tobacco Company. R.J. Reynolds Company is tobacco Company that takes very important place in tobacco history as it has developed ideas and has initiated innovations that today make integral part of tobacco business. When in charge of the Company was its founder Richard Joshua Reynolds, namely this Company was first tobacco Company that began to produce and sell cigarettes in packs. This idea (that belongs personally to Mr. R.J. Reynolds) was realized in 1913.
