Snus refers to smokeless chewing tobacco. Sales of chewing tobacco increase practically twofold each year in entire world. Snus has its own advantages and disadvantages.
The main advantages of snus consumption are its harmlessness for lungs.
Researchers affirm that people who have refused cigarettes in favor of chewing tobacco have noticed considerable improvement of health and health status.

The smaller the packet is - the smaller is nicotine content. Packet of chewing tobacco of 0.3 g weight corresponds according to strength to light cigarettes and contains approximately 0.4 mg of nicotine; with 0.5-0.9 g weight - 2 mg of nicotine; packet with 1 g weight corresponds to strong cigarette and contains 2-2.3 mg of nicotine. Snus enters the market in form of long bands, in jars or small sacks.
